4 out of 5 stars Ok mattress.   December 15, 2008
V. Sorochkin (Brooklyn, NY)
I needed a cheap matress that was small enough to carry around in car easily. This definatelly fit the bill. It is very durable and easy to blow up. This unit came with a pump with 4D batteries. HUGE HASSLE! Take my advise and buy the same one that comes with an electric pump or the manual pump, a few bucks extra. This pump will not work on weak batteries and pumps up the mattress to about 80% capacity, not more.
Now I am forced to buy an electric one separately, about $20. Besides the pump, it is a good buy. Does not come with a bag, you gotta find your own.

5 out of 5 stars QUESTION!!!   December 4, 2008

hey, i am interested in buying this item, however I am concerned about the hand held battery pump. Since it is a battery pump do you just put the batteries in and let it inflate the mattress or do you actually have to pump the mattress full of air yourself?

5 out of 5 stars Great for Traveling with Twins   December 2, 2008

We bought two mattresses for our 2 year old twin daughters to be used when we travel out of town. The mattresses are comfy, easy to inflate/deflate and are lightweight and compact when not in use. The transition from pack-n-plays to mattresses has been seemless and, best yet, the mattresses take up less space and are lighter than the pack-n-plays when traveling.

4 out of 5 stars Nice, Cheap, Comfortable and worth it.   October 16, 2008

I bought this to have in Iraq since Army mattresses pretty much suck. Well this little number is really easy to inflate and very comfortable. It inflates very quickly with the included pump. The only negative thing about this is that the quick release cap can pop off when the mattress is fully inflated and happens to rub up on something like the edge of the bed frame. Not a problem if you plan on using it on the floor for camping or a flat bed with no bed frame that stands above it. It is very cheap even with the delivery fee and even arrived within 9 days all the way to Iraq! The material seems durable and so far it only seems to need a slight refill every few days, but I am a big guy and that could be the reason why it looses a little air.

3 out of 5 stars Worked Well for awhile   October 14, 2008

bought the product based on the notion that other reviewers said it stood the test of teenagers. We used it for an 18 year old athlete who spends so much time on the court he has to sleep there. It worked perfectly, until it got a hole, maybe a month or two after buying it. Not pleases. If yours doesn't hole up and you know how to work the pump and hole trickery you should be fine.
