In SJ it seems we lose our electric all the time. Finding these was impossible. Now we have enough to cook on when the power fails. Our little Mr. Stove has come in handy many times. From cooking soup, coffee to warming water to wash up with, they are nice to have on hand. I was a bit worried about shipment of Butane but now I know where to find them.

I am not a camper but the butane fuel canisters with the compact stove is a wonderful use anywhere burner for inside and outside of the home. Canisters are the size of hair spray cans making them easy to store. Wish I had known about this product years ago. I think it needs to listed with kitchen stuff.

Little did we know when we purchased these cannisters that they would not only be used by our son when he camped in Colorado - BUT - we would also use them to cook when we were without power and a generator for the first 4 days after Hurricane Ike hit Houston - perfect timing!
